In art, Jing Sun explored the combination of comprehensive materials with rice paper and silk. Her works are characterized by paper-based ink and wash collage.

” I have long liked Western painting, color, Impressionism and expressionism. Later on, I gradually like ancient Chinese things which are simple and implicit, but not expressive. Mountains are not just mountains. They include trees, stones, flowers, birds and people. The mountains contain everything. I want to try to use a simple language to express the mountain, a relationship and an order amongst all things in the mountain. “
